Welcome to Bethel Local Schools

Nestled in the southeast corner of Miami County, Bethel Local School District is located 15 miles to the north of the City of Dayton and includes portions of Tipp City, Huber Heights and Bethel Township. Chartered in 1917, the district consists of one K-12 grade building with three different schools: elementary, middle school and high school. As Bethel Township changed and the district grew through the years, permanent academic spaces were added to the original building in 1951, 1956, 1964, 1969 with a new gymnasium in 1999 and a new high school in 2017.  Currently one of the fastest growing districts in the state, plans for a new stadium and k-5 building are now in the works.

Student-centered instruction, small class sizes and supportive learning environments foster a caring “family” environment where teachers are able to make personal connections with students and their families on a daily basis.  Beginning in seventh grade, students are afforded the opportunity to participate in a variety of fine arts, student government and athletic opportunities. Our elementary also offers a variety of different programs ranging from gifted education, accelerated reading programs and musical choirs and bands. Bethel Local Schools proudly honors the traditions of it community and has an active multi-generational Alumni Association that inspires commitment to quality.

Overall, Bethel Local Schools is committed to its core values and strives to achieve the highest levels of performance in all its endeavors. Acting in the best interest of its students, Bethel seeks to provide experiences that complement the community’s strengths and needs. Seeking what’s best for its students, Bethel Local Schools leadership draws from its past by embracing its future.
