8th Grade Graduation Information

8th Grade Graduation Information

This year at Bethel Middle School, we will be holding a graduation ceremony for our 8th graders. This is going to be a special occasion. Please read the following as it contains important information in order to make this event a truly remarkable experience as we send our Class of 2028 into high school.

Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony is an important milestone for 8th-grade students as they transition from middle school to high school. This will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at 9:00 am in the Bethel High School Gym. Parking will be available in the back parking lot behind the high school, and you may enter through The Hive doors. In order to ensure all families are represented with the space available, each student will be given four tickets for their family.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the 8th-grade class will proceed to Bethel Hall. There, they will meet with their homeroom teacher. We request that one parent/guardian goes to Bethel Hall and checks their student out. Once this is completed, you are then able to take your student with you.

Permission Slip

Additionally, 8th-grade students are not required to be present on Thursday, May 16th. This permission ensures that this will be an excused absence. In order for you to take your child home after the ceremony and for the next day, your student must return the permission slip, completed by Tuesday, May 7, 2024, to their homeroom teacher. Permission slips will be passed out in their homeroom.
