On Saturday, August 29, 2020, leadership of the Bethel Local School District received complaints in regard to a post that was made on a private social media account by a district employee. Upon immediate review, district officials met with the employee and discussed the nature of the comment.
The statement does not reflect the beliefs or ideals of the Bethel Local Schools Board of Education or the Administration and school district. Since this is a pending personnel matter, our practice is not to publically discuss the specific facts and circumstances of this matter as we review the district social media policy and appropriate course of action.
