Good morning and welcome to the first ever “Wellness Wednesday” post from your schools’ SEAC (Social Emotional Awareness Counselors) Team.  We wanted to start these posts during Mental Health Awareness Week (October 4-10).

As many of you know, with everything in the world going on right now, everyone, especially the youth, are struggling with many stressors.  Unfortunately, many people do not know how to even start conversations with youth about their mental and emotional wellbeing or what to do once they find out.

Since it is Mental Health Awareness week, we wanted to share an article titled “Are the Kids All Right? How to Check in on Their Mental Health During a Tough Time”  Our hope is to encourage these types of conversations within your households and improve family wellness.
