Sgt Busey, the local Marine Corps recruiter for the area would like to bring attention to a Bethel High School 2020 graduate, Jacob Apple. He completed his training to become a United States Marine, and Sgt Busey would love to congratulate him along with the Bethel Community. Apple just endured 13 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, learning marketable life skills such as Leadership, Management, and Physical Fitness. He then went to Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger where he learned basic combat skills, self-defense, and survival techniques. Apple proceeded on to his technical school where he learned all facets of supply management, logistics, and processing that he will be using during his tour of duty as a Marine as well as his future career after the military.
