Bethel High School and Middle School had an assembly today in honor of Veterans Day! Local veterans were recognized for their service through the reading of speeches and quotes, a performance by the band, and students singing the national anthem. #BethelLegacy

Reminder: Picture Retake Day for the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools will be tomorrow, November 9th! If your student was absent and missed picture day, please have them use their original picture packet. If your student was not pleased with their original picture, they can get a retake, they just must return their original packet. #BethelLegacy

Bethel Elementary School is collecting baby, child, and adult clothing until Wednesday, December 13th, for the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio! Items will be collected at the Elementary Office. #BethelLegacy

Bethel Middle School and High School will be holding a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 10th, at 8:30am in the High School Gym! All veterans and active duty military personnel are invited to attend. Please check in at one of the offices upon arrival. #BethelLegacy

Reminder: Bethel High School and Middle School will have a remote learning day tomorrow, November 7th, due to election polling taking place in Bethel Hall! Students will stay home and will have an assignment for each class. Assignments will be given the preceding day or may be posted on Google Classroom. Teachers will be available during school hours to answer questions via email. If Bethel Local Schools is your polling location, please park in the rear parking lot of the High School and enter the building through the Hive doors. Bethel Elementary School will be unaffected by election polling. #BethelLegacy

Join the Bethel High School Baseball team as they STRIKE OUT hunger this holiday season! Bethel Baseball Players will be coming door to door in the Parktowne neighborhood to collect canned & non-perishable food items on Saturday, November 4th, between 9:00am and 12:00pm. They would love to say hello, but feel free to leave items bagged on your front porch! #BethelLegacy

Congratulations to the Bethel Wee Stinger JV football team on winning their game Sunday and being named the TRYFL Junior Varsity Champions! The team and coaches fought hard for the win! Additionally, thanks to the Bethel families that endured the weather to support our football players and cheerleaders! #BethelLegacy

Please use caution when driving through the “Gayle Rhoades Way” access lane. Buses are approaching drivers head-on in the morning and evening. The access road is a two-lane road between the hours of 5:30am to 10:00am and 2:45pm to 5:00pm. Your child’s safety is our first priority. #BethelLegacy

Have you ever wanted to learn how to debate? Debate is not just yelling at your opponent, but rather using your words and research to back up your point of view/topic. Students in debate clubs learn how to debate by using specific strategies that debaters use to effectively win their cases. Students will examine/analyze several debates and hone in on what team or individual proved their point. We will offer two sections: A Middle School and a High School Debate Club. Middle School will meet on Mondays, while high school will meet on Tuesdays, each depending on interest. We will meet from 3:00-4:00, in room 1218. Students will need to make arrangements to be picked up afterward. The ultimate goal for our school would be to create a team that will compete against other schools in the area and, eventually, within the United States. This club will begin the week of November 13, 2023. #BethelLegacy
