Principal Weekly Updates
Hello 7-8 Middle School Parents,
Happy Thursday! I hope this message finds you well! I'm writing to share some exciting news about an upcoming event at our school.

We want to make a big effort this year to create an amazing Holiday Festival type feel for our students during December. This is the type of thing that builds our community and enriches the imagination and experience for our students, and we know it’s important not to miss these opportunities.

To pull this off, we will be running a Holiday Monopoly themed game all week (it’s going to be a blast!), and we have a few ways we would love for parents to get involved too:

1. We need prizes for the students and staff. We have creative ideas and special privileges for many of the prizes, but we also need gift cards of all types. We are asking parents to consider donating a gift card of either $5 or $10 to be used as a prize. You can certainly do more cards, but we would rather have more cards than higher amounts. Cards to random or funny places are also welcome. Please drop them off at the office by Monday December 8, 2025.

2. Some of our planned prizes also include donuts, baked goods, rice crispy treats, and other tasty things. If you are able to help donate some of these, please use the following link on signupgenius https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C054CABAA2CABFAC25-60835229-holiday and let us know what you can bring so that we can build up our prize stash!

3. We are also looking for small holiday-themed items to use as additional prizes—things like festive trinkets, ornaments, mini decorations, novelty holiday items, or any fun seasonal knick-knacks students would enjoy. These don’t need to be expensive; just cheerful and festive!

Thank you, everyone. This is a new tradition of Holiday games and festivals is so important, and we appreciate everyone for helping us make this a special week for our school and students!
