The Bethel Boys and Girls Youth Basketball BeeBall organization, is hosting a district qualifier contest for the Elk’s National Hoop Shoot Free-Throw Contest on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Bethel High School!
In order to participate and have a chance to qualify, you must be a Bethel Local Schools student and you must register by Friday, November 25, 2022. Contestants must be at least 8 years old and no older than 13 as of April 1, 2023.

Bethel Middle School is proud to present "Once on This Island Jr." this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
The Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7pm, and Sunday's show will begin at 3pm. Tickets are $7 each, and can be purchased through this link: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/68495
If you would like to by tickets in person, they can be purchased in the HIVE from 2:30pm to 5:30pm this week, or an hour before each performance begins.
The performances will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in-person. Tickets for the livestreams are available here: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/68502
Please note that any seats not paid for 30 minutes prior to the show may be released for sale to other patrons.

Mrs. Pikas’s kindergartners are reading Rap A Tap Tap from Wit & Wisdom. Landes came and showed off her tapping skills for the class. Students observed the difference in her shoes and what makes the noise, listening to the rhythm and seeing how she uses her body. #K5hive
Elementary Book Fair is up and running! Students are shopping during their library time. Families are invited Thursday, November 10th from 4-7pm. We appreciate all of our volunteers who help to make the book fair possible! #K5hive

11/03/22: Bethel Local Schools is operating on a 2-hour delay due to unsafe driving conditions caused by dense fog.
Picture day retakes for elementary, middle school, and high school students will take place on November 10th! If you were not pleased with your students picture, they can get a new picture taken at no additional cost, they just need to return their original package of pictures.
Registration is now open for 2nd-6th grade boys and girls Recreational Basketball League! Registration closes November 20th, 2022, at 11:59pm.

Due to today's school cancellation, the elementary math club parent meeting originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed to a later date.
Mr. Anderson’s kindergartners practiced identifying the beginning sounds of E and R. Students also practiced their fine motor and coordination skills using their scissors. #K5hive #OneBethel
Mrs. Pikas’s kindergartners acted out Chicka Chicka Boom Boom from Wit and Wisdom. They also did a STEM activity to see how many letters they could put on their tree before it fell. Looks like fun! #K5hive
Mrs. Davidson worked with 1st graders in the library on how to stand up to bullies. Students did an excellent job using kind words to work through difficult situations. #K5hive #OneBethel
