Attention Parents!
If your student was on free and reduced lunches last year, and you have not filled out the application for this year, please do so ASAP. The grace period from last year has ended, and students without money will only receive a peanut butter sandwich, a vegetable, and a milk.

While attending Parent-Teacher Conferences tonight, October 6th, please consider checking the lost and found located outside of the Elementary Office! Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight from 3:30pm to 7pm.

The Bethel Local School District is conducting a Superintendent Search with the help of K12 consulting. This process will begin with the creation of a superintendent search profile, which will be made based on focus group and questionnaire responses from the district staff and community.
The community is invited to attend an open forum on October 18th, 2022, at 6:30pm. This forum is to seek input from the community on the characteristics, skills, and experience the Board of Education should consider when evaluating candidates for the district's next Superintendent. There is some traffic on the roads this afternoon that is causing some delays for the elementary routes as the buses are a little later from their middle school/high school routes. Buses are leaving now. Thank you for understanding.

Bus 14 for Middle School, High School, and Elementary students will run about 10 minutes early. First pick up will be around 6:45am for Middle and High School students and 7:45am for Elementary students. Bus 7 students will be picked up about 5 minutes later than normal.
In the afternoon, Bus 14 will be dismissed on time. Bus 7 will be held at the school for about 15 minutes, then released upon her return.

Today, our 2nd graders learned about Fire Safety from the Bethel Fire Department. Students were able to see a fireman in full uniform, sit in the fire truck, and spray the fire hose!




Mrs. Pikas and her kindergartners are using their Fundations trays. Students are focused on finding the first letter in the words Mrs. Pikas tells them. They did a fabulous job in knowing the difference between leading consonants and vowels. #K5hive #OneBethel

Ms. Rench’s kindergartners learned about the sensory jar of taste in their Wit and Wisdom text. Students were able to taste something sweet, sour, spicy, and salty. They LOVED trying the foods and describing how they tasted. #K5hive #OneBethel
